Oh boy! Look what we can do now... Mo Hawk and pig tails. The hair factor is becoming our daily entertainment. Shane started calling her 'Lil Monster because when she wakes up in the morning her hair is a crazy mess:) I made a solemn vow to myself that I would not cut her hair before a year. Picture an overgrown mullet with the ends reaching the middle of her back.

Nothing like a girly trip to the Shoe Gypsy! Shane B's momma and Beth came in town so we partied w/Tabs for a couple hours.From left to right: momma Barnard, Beth, Becky, Tabs, me& lil' monster, and Sar.

Toothy Laughs

Today, I lost count of the number of times Olive laughed. It started this morning when I told her firmly, "NO, don't bite!"...she through her head back and cackled. I couldn't help laughing out loud and saying no again as if it were the funniest word I've ever heard. It escalated when I shook my finger at her and repeated dramatically,, NO NO NO! Again she laughed. We are in trouble folks! I had to work hard for the rest of the day making a fool of myself for the laughter of my infant daughter...my favorite new activity.

My sister Jettie and her daughter Miss Avery came and stayed for a week. Here she is saying "cheese."

Olive's new bed

Thankfully Olive has the gift of sleep. The girl can sleep just about anywhere! This was our first trip on the bus. We were out for 3 days and she did great. I think she thought the bus was her own loud moving bed. Good thing, since it'll be our home for 3 months starting in August.
